The Church of Sweden is looking for an Administrative Assistant with Custodial Duties for Gustav Adolf's Congregation

About the Position

As an Administrative Assistant with custodial duties, you will be an important cog in our congregation. The majority of the position involves responsibility for office administration but also some practical tasks in our churches and community facilities.

Your Role Includes

Administrative Tasks:

• Appointment bookings in the scheduling program Aveny
• Booking venues and managing calendars as well as writing meeting notes
• Record keeping
• Purchasing office supplies
• Mail handling and simpler financial tasks
• Phone/email
• Writing meeting notes
• Internal communication and support to other staff

Custodial Duties:

• Preparations for services and church ceremonies
• Basic property maintenance and repairs
• Receiving deliveries

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with well-documented experience in administration, who enjoys working with service and is practically inclined. You are pedagogical, have a high sense of service, and good social skills. You are structured and have the ability to take initiative.

Requirements:

• Documented experience in administration
• Very good computer skills and administrative ability
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to work both independently and in a team

Meritorious:

• Experience working within the Church of Sweden or another non-profit organization
• Familiarity with church traditions and activities
